BIOGRAPHY

Metal. The conventional term has evolved from a true, pure form of unadulterated aggression into a commercial, fashionable product glorified by mass media. Even though the mass media has taken a ventured interest in the genre, a numerous amount of bands have gone to their roots to embrace and adapt the principles and fundamentals of metal. By utilizing crafty guitar work and a true form of precision songwriting, the men of (Lone) Wolf & Cub aim to remind kids that it's still cool to fucking headbang.

(Lone) Wolf & Cub evolved from two bands: La Mantra De Fhiqria and Dakota / Dakota. La Mantra embraced the D.I.Y. underground hardcore ethic of bands like Yaphet Kotto, Reversal Of Man, Combatwoundedveteran, and My Lai while Dakota / Dakota enamored its listeners with thick instrumental arrangements utilized by bands like Don Caballero and Sweep The Leg Johnny. The Dakota / Dakota faction of the group started freebasing patchouli and formed a hippie jam band called Russian Circles (Flameshovel Records, LP version on Hewhocorrupts Inc in mid 2k6). The remaining members sought adequate replacements, who underwent rigorous training in Design Concepts for Power Metal 201, Foundations of Huskie Management 104, and Pre-Calculus.

With their recent relocation to the Appalachians region, these boys have traded in their pickup trucks and acoustic guitars for battle axes and beards. Make no mistake about it, (Lone) Wolf & Cub torches all new school metal posers with their bare bones metal muscle. Whether they're in the back yard training attack dogs or rubbing rocks together to ignite the fire for their next meal of meat, these men have one thing on their mind, destroy the living and devour the maggots that seek their flesh!!!!
